I’m so excited to share the Hugo Boss eyewear campaign. Shot in downtown LA, Malibu, and Palm Springs, the theme was the contrast between light and shadow and was captured just beautifully by the incredibly talented team that flew in from Germany and Italy. I love the emphasis on vintage inspired frames, aviators, and the new men’s styles. I’m honored to be a part of this project! Thank you to Hugo Boss for making it such a great experience.
Current rotation in the afternoon sun in one of my favorite spots in our house. New additions: the bulletin board I covered in linen, a new succulent arrangement from one of my favorite stores in LA Rolling Greens (as is obvious, I made the pink one myself), and the Kaede camisole in blush.
I just got back to rain soaked LA from a beautiful few days out in the desert with Louis Vuitton. Feels like I was just out there for Coachella but Palm Springs has this addictive quality to it that makes it hard to feel like you’ve ever gotten enough. I loved relaxing at the Ace Hotel, getting my favorite avocado sandwich ever ever at Nature’s Cafe as often as made sense, and getting to experience the multi-part Cruise show extravaganza. Held at Bob Hope’s futuristic estate that is 90% UFO, the runway snaked around the entire backyard, showcasing the collection that felt like the most idealized future garb that would have been pictured by someone in the Mad Men era. With a dash of medieval drama and some wild card thong sandals. Afterwards the evening began with a beautiful dinner at the Parker followed by a full on carnival. So much fun! Can’t wait to see obsess over these pieces when they’re available. Thank you so much to the LV team for having me!
(Chloé dress and heels)
Looking out over Malibu’s canyons wearing the dreamiest dress that is basically 90% air particle in composition. Spring Chloé has me by the throat. Don’t send for help.
A must see in LA right now – the Vincent Lamouroux installation on Sunset.
The latest in Zillah iterations – MUSTARD. Couldn’t be more golden perfect for summer. We did this one with the shiny side of the silk charmeuse towards the inside, the matte look gives it a different more casual vibe. Will be available next week on our site!
More in AYAI news – we will be launching at Ron Herman on Melrose on Saturday and I’ll be there from 3-5 to celebrate! Their spot on Melrose is so iconic – so honored and excited to be carried at RH. If you need mustard to continue life, it will be available from tomorrow in store – hope to see you there!
If you’ve been keeping up with my Instagram activities, you’ll have seen the event that Burberry had at Griffith Park recently. I was so excited to attend, the views were beautiful as ever and the way they took over the observatory was just crazy in the best possible way. Oh and sitting across from Elton John and the entire Beckham family was a whole next level of UK-ness that I’m still kind of digesting. Burberry dressed me for the night in a simple but beautifully cut knit dress.
(Chloé top, heels, and Faye bag, ARE YOU AM I Kaede silk shorts, Balenciaga tote)
One of the more intricate pieces in my wardrobe, this Chloé top sometimes warrants just a session of just staring at it hanging in there with great awe. I paired it with silk shorts from my line and accessories heavy enough to not make this whole thing too feminine, like concrete chambers, that sort of thing. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
