(Mademoiselle Zaria tank, Elizabeth and James silk pants, Manolo Blahnik Chaos sandals, Sonia Rykiel sunglasses, Acne clutch, OPI polish in Black Onyx)
These basically pajamas would have been borderline socially unacceptable with any type of flat but slightly enhanced with the simple Chaos sandal I think it seems like I decided to wear this all on purpose. In public. The tank is from one of my favorite LA brands Mademoiselle, the pants I’ve been trying to figure out a good time to wear for a few months and this nine zillion degree week here was it.
(Rag & Bone tank, Lover shorts, Céline sandals, Saint Laurent Chyc bag)
I’ve worn the black version of these shorts out to the nth degree and have convinced myself that lace shorts are now a wardrobe basic so it felt not too crazy to go for them in coral. More colors please Lover! I broke them in yesterday with a Rag & Bone mullet top and 2011 throwback footwear.
(Stone Cold Fox Coppola top, Mercury Duo shorts, Birkenstocks)
This is how you’ll find me puttering about my house on Sunday mornings engaging in a healthy routine of torturing Kumo, glorifying in messy sheets, and checking on the plant life in my backyard in an uneducated way. This Stone Cold Fox piece is so beautiful and lazy day relevant, I forgot how much I’m all about things that are oversized and backless. And before you say it, he’s the opposite of possessed, which to be precise is having the personality of a stuffed animal that was brought to life. But you know what, I know you’re not convinced, it’s ok.
(Topshop bandana print shirt and shorts, Manolo Blahnik Chaos sandals, Dylan Kain Ryder bag)
Bandana print has seeped into my closet like the liquid it isn’t over the past couple of years but this rendition is the most fun yet. Children’s summer pajama-like with a nice boxy cut and subtly slitted up shorts, a lot of requirements are being checked here. I wanted to keep the look sleek so paired the set with my beautiful new oh and first ever Manolos for an afternoon in Santa Monica. Not really casual but not too done – ideal.

I’ve been in beautiful Morocco for almost a week now, I can’t wait to share photos of everything I’ve seen and done here. I have never been more continuously awestruck and am maybe on the verge of losing the ability to process beauty properly. These shots were taken the day I left playing dressup while packing – love this little suede suit from Topshop’s festival collection!
Lace shorts and leather shorts have been equally cherished but separately cherished categories in my closet for multiple years now, both having that borderline inappropriate allure I love so much. Well, separate no longer, basically cause Rag & Bone gets me like that.
I’ve been in LA for a rare couple weeks straight now and have found a happy routine of kitchen experimentation, all day dates with Colin, and the most regular workout schedule I’ve maintained in a long long time. Going to make sure to savor this before I’m off on my next trip on Wednesday. New country, oh and new continent too. So excited!
(Sandro blazer, Theory tank top, Zara skort, Proenza Schouler boots, Céline oversized Audrey sunglasses and hologram clutch)
Felt like it was about time to add another entry to the internet’s parchment scroll of a Zara skort archive. So many ways to wear this pointy little loincloth and so tempting is it to explore more that I’m going to have to cut myself off and by that I mean start wearing the black version instead. Hope everyone is enjoying Mother’s Day! I’m promising an extravaganza of something or other for the next time I visit my beautiful mother.
