Hi from Tokyo! Some shots from Shibuya tonight headed to Yasutoshi Ezume, the last show of the first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. I’m loving the look of stiff structured pieces coming together, I brought the look down to reality with generic canvas sneakers I picked up in Harajuku a few days ago.
So that thing that people talk about where they need time to digest a collection with the purpose of achieving stuff like perspective and maybe even the ability to apply concepts to real life didn’t factor in at all with Isabel Marant’s FW. All that thin knit mating and inexplicable upper boob slit work and silver studding seemed immediately capable of filling multiple quietly gaping holes in my closet. And now the wait is over, really, finally over. This cozy shrunken sweater and warrior princess skirt were the standout pieces to me, shot on Pont Alexandre III for Seine nymph (those exist) vibes and also cause actually anything/one would look perfect there.

I haven’t stopped dressing like the non-existent token half Asian from Clueless since September began, why would arriving in Paris change that? Also it’s still summer here which is nice.
With the weight of the objects I’m carrying around and the amount of skin on my heels that’s been rubbed raw to the cartilage (sorry), these are the predicted accessories of choice this week. Always can rely on Phillip for form and function. So happy to be back in Paris for the last bit of summer!
Such a beautiful week in Stockholm – thank you to everyone who made the trip so special! Feel free to ask.fm me about outfits/shows/general whatever or maybe my policy about what happens to selfies that are taken on my phone. Hope you enjoyed my trip in photos, this is one of my absolute favorite cities to visit.

Got a little done up for the Socialyte Awards last week, held at The Box in the Lower East Side. I was so honored to receive the Industry Choice Award! I wore this simple but dramatic pseudo-robe dress from Jenni Kayne’s fall collection that I’m extremely sure I didn’t tie up in the manner intended. I always have to have something slightly off don’t I. There were, entertainingly enough for a blogger event, no photos allowed inside the venue so these were shot around the Bowery after heading out.
Arriving at Skylight at Moynihan Station, quite the beautiful traffic vortex, this place. It’s one of the more photogenic show venues in New York, what with the historic New York vibe contrasting against the stark industrial interior. Very important to set up coordinates of exactly where you’re going to meet your mode of transport afterwards otherwise you’ll probably perish wandering forlornly up and down 9th Avenue. Well, there are worse ways to go. You’ll at least have lots of company in the same boat.
See me equipped with my Sony Xperia Z tablet, my latest toy to keep me updated on the go. It sold itself on waterproof.
I really hope there was no almond butter on my face.
My pal Andrew Bevan escorted me in, which was my favorite. And hey, nice nude briefcase, Andrew, I like that.
Also my favorite was seeing beautiful Marie who I last met up with in Tokyo over the summer.
Fray in the front row.
Some of my favorite looks. Everything stiff and boxy is appealing to me right now, so that sheath dress is conversing with my soul. Same goes for the Lim-ified trench and duffle.
Sneaking out of the vortex.
Last shots in this outfit before dinner in the West Village. And finally the outfit details – Acne Mape biker jacket, Robert Rodriguez top, Étoile Isabel Marant foldover skirt, Céline wedges, Ray-ban Wayfarers, and Valentino monogrammed wrist clutch. Overall A+ afternoon.

Holding on tight to this most pillowy and sweet of clutches – Burberry’s latest crush style is the iconic design house at its most playful. That gold heart doubles as a conversation starter, I found out pretty quickly. Shot in Soho by loveliness Zanita on a gloomy morning in Soho.

More from New York, a very different and 97% more polished silhouette for me but this top makes everything feel alright. Are there things that are cut more precisely and perfectly than this skirt? NO.
(Calvin Klein Collection SS13 top, shorts, and shoes)
My favorite look from this past week in New York, in a specific kind of way where it felt completely me but also completely next level. That’s a special thing that happens sometimes, I think. The construction and detailing on this top are Stormtrooper meets Cinderella, well maybe that last part is just how it made me feel except for the part where I had to hail down the housekeeper in the hallway to zip me up. I wore this to Francisco Costa’s 10th anniversary show, which was two Instagram videos worth of beautiful. Congrutulations @costafrancisco!
