Hiking ‘fit and I’m only kinda kidding. LA is pretty lush right now, look at that greenery. Right now I’m packing to leave for Paris in a couple hours, so excited!
I just got back to LA after a rainy drive back (thank you for always driving Chris!) after spending the weekend at beautiful sprawling Rancho Valencia. It’s been such a strangely long time since I was last in San Diego and getting to visit my old favorite spots and stay at this most luxurious of ranchos was so exactly my mood. The fact that it was raining semi-nonstop took a couple activity options off the agenda but also just made having all breakfasts fireside more obligatory. We had such a relaxing, cozy time – if you can at all make it here you should. Seriously, the yoga studio has a legit moat. Thank you to the super friendly Rancho Valencia crew for having us !

I was beyond late to NYFW this season due to having fittings and meetings for AYAI but was really happy to make the last few days and still get to see some of my favorite designers show. That said, putting this post together is making me curl up a little more intensely in my blanket in my 76 degree living room. Such cold air particles. I genuinely think this trip marked my first experience with the Fahrenheit reading of three and marked the appearance of a new ability to go through 8 pocket warmers a day. Thank you to the Mondrian Soho for taking care of me and being close to enough places that I didn’t really need to venture that far from a small area. Can’t wait to be back in NY when it’s more habitable!
(ARE YOU AM I Zillah slipdress, Chloé Faye bag and sandals)
It’s maniacal how in love with the Zillah slipdress I am, and I’m so excited that we’ve just put it into production in both blush and a silver Lurex layered over two layers of white silk. These are going to be really limited in quantity but I’m so excited to have our first bit of color in the collection. Blush! So wild. Look for them in our online store in a couple weeks time, just in time to start getting ready for spring.
I was so excited to be involved in the coverage for the Hugo Boss show again this season. Five of us were given iPhones to cover the show from different angles and we took video footage of every second, from the first look to Jason Wu’s appearance after the finale. I hope you checked out the livestream!
(R13 shirt, ARE YOU AM I Kaede silk shorts, Diane von Furstenburg clutch, 3.1 Phillip Lim cat eye sunglasses, Céline leather espadrilles)
Super chilled outfit for a Sunday stopping by my favorite spots in Silverlake and then using all the S words to talk about it. When I first started seeing having my own line as a reality, these shorts were one of the first pieces I knew I wanted to bring to life. As much as I love the set they make with the Kaede cami, the texture play of the heavy silk with an old tshirt was at least half the plan all along. This shirt is perfectly flimsy to play off them. Worn with the leather ‘drilles I took an excruciating 6 months to break in and my new fluffy pink friend.
(ARE YOU AM I Ryal tshirt, Mason skirt, Giuseppe Zanotti Olinda mules, Goyard shoulder bag)
After a couple meetings today, I went to go check out the Taschen Gallery on Beverly Boulevard. The Bailey shots on display are stunning, early days Mick Jagger is the most intense, and the unbridled use of this shade of pink beautifully presumptuous on an otherwise grayscale patch of the street. Make sure to check it out if you’re in LA!
ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m having an event this week at Satine on 3rd Street here in LA for ARE YOU AM I. Open to all that RSVP! Come say hi and try on clothes and celebrate being in a blizzard free zone of the world.
